DR. DEADLY

Response

Unlike ordinary doctors, Doctor Deadly didn’t rely on medicines or surgeries. His

treatments were unique.

The first patient of the day was a man who struggled with poor vision. “Doctor, I can barely

see,” he complained. Doctor Deadly nodded thoughtfully and disappeared into the back-

room. When he returned, he had a peculiar set of tools. Before the man could say anything,

the doctor carefully attached three extra eyes on him. One on his forehead and two at the

back of his head.

Next came a girl who spoke too softly. “Everyone keeps on telling me to speak loudly,

Doctor.” Without hesitation, Doctor Deadly fitted a small microphone inside her throat and

connected it to a speaker embedded in her chest. “Try now,” he said. The girl opened her

mouth, and the entire clinic, even the last patient in the queue could hear what she spoke.

“Perfect,” the doctor declared.

A young man stumbled in next, rubbing his eyes. “Doctor, I have a strange problem. I fall

asleep anytime, anywhere. In the middle of conversations, while walking, even when I’m

eating!” Doctor Deadly nodded and attached a digital eyeglass to the young man’s face.

“This is your sleep controller. Set the timer for the number of hours you need to stay awake

and during that period if you close your eyes for more than 10 seconds then it will

generate a loud unpleasant sound that will wake you up.” The man was thrilled, finally in

control of his unpredictable sleep.

Then there was an elderly man who struggled with a weak memory. “Doctor, I keep

forgetting things! I can’t remember names, dates, or even why I walked into a room,” he

said worriedly. Doctor Deadly nodded and inserted a small USB-like device into the

man’s head. “This is a memory drive, it will store everything for you. IT can store memory

up to 512 GB” The man was thrilled, recalling every detail of his life instantly.

A young boy arrived next, complaining about his weak legs. “I can barely walk or run,

within seconds my legs start to hurt” he said. The doctor thought for a moment before

implanting tiny motorized wheels into his feet. “Now u can walk and run, faster than ever

expected. ”The boy was excited, rolling around effortlessly.

The last patient of the day was a man who had never smiled in his life. His face was expressionless, his lips frozen in a permanent frown. “Doctor, I want to be happy,” he sighed. Doctor Deadly thought for a moment before attaching a small digital monitor to his forehead. “This will display your emotions for you.” The man looked in the mirror, whenever he felt something, an emoji would appear on the screen, a happy/smiling face for happiness, a crying face, a furious red face for anger. It seemed like the perfect solution.

As the patients left, each one realized that Doctor Deadly had indeed solved their problems… just not in the way they had expected. The clinic doors closed for the night, but the doctor knew that by morning, more would arrive, seeking his help. And he would be ready with his own brand of cures.
